Thanks all for reporting this. At the moment we are scratching our heads wondering what the cause may be, as this only appears to be occurring on a (relatively) small number of devices. We are looking for common trends to hopefully help us to reproduce the problem on our own devices.

thanks for looking into this.
as a matter of fact i completely factory-resetted my Nexus 6P yesterday. i even re-flashed the entire firmware to Android Version 6.0.1, Build MTL19V (thats an all original android i got through regular OTA upgrades, not rooted or customized). on the freshly flashed phone i installed skydemon and i could reproduce the issue perfectly. it runs fine with 3.6.2 but gets terribly slow with 3.6.3

i am now upgrading my phone through OTA upgrades to the latest version i can get and will retry

will let you know what happens as soon as i get there. but for now: Nexus 6P with Android Build MTL19V should get you there.

cheers
Pascal

Thanks. A shame you can't revert to Android 5 to see if that helps.

yes, sorry, as this was the reference platform for android 6 there is no way of going back to 5. i don't think anybody was ever interested in providing a custom rom running android 5 for the phone either. what android versions are the other users running on their samsung devices?

i completed all pending updates on my phone and i am now runningn 6.0.1 build MTC20F with the same effects in SD. still patiently waiting for android 7 Wink

but since SD version 3.6.2 is working fine, i guess it must be some changes in SD that can be undone or fixed in order to fix this issue, no matter what android version it is run on.

meanwhile i got the android 7 update which sadly did not change anything about SD. Sad

My Samsung Galaxy S3 (model GT-19300) is running Android version 4.3
I successfully reverted back to SD version 3.6.2.19250 on my S3, however the Airfield Explorer has stopped working again.
I did get it to work most of the time with version 3.6.3.

As previously mentioned, I successfully reverted back to the previous version of SD.
However, what I didn't notice until flying yesterday is that I had lost all my personal settings (mapping options, display options etc.). They had reverted to the SD defaults.
This hasn't happened before during automatic SD updates, so is this normal expected behavior?
I had forgotten about the "save settings to the cloud" but hadn't needed to use that feature before.

Hi
Having just returned from holiday I have been told by a number of friends that they found Skydemon unusable on there trip around France. Both. Nexus and note 4.. Showed them how to revert to July version and back to normal.
Mine was faultless using July version last week.

There is an Android beta currently posted which may resolve the issue. Please try it and report back, if you can.
