Am I right in thinking that since the Pilot Aware guys changed their design earlier this year to incorporate a separate GPS dongle rather than as previous, obtain GPS position from the iPad, that it means Sky Demon now uses that dongle to derive position of your aircraft in the sky demon app rather than the iPads internal location services GPS ??

My understanding is that when you are using Flarm or PilotAware, then Skydemon takes the location information from the said device, and doesn't use the internal GPS of the tablet.
