Does anyone know if the mentioned GNS 5890 ADS-B receiver USB stick will both work with SD?

I'm running SkyDemon on my (Windows 10 OS) Surface Pro 3.

Surface Pro 3's (or any surface's for that matter) do not have an in built GPS so I will have to buy one separately (if anyone can recommend one that is great and compatible with SD/Surface Pro 3, that would be equally helpful!)

Does anyone foresee any issues with SD and the USB ADS-B Receiver being compatible with SD's powerflarm butterfly connector?

I found the GNS 5890 on amazon for £100 and it would be amazing if this little USB ADS-B Receiver Antenna was compatible with SkyDemon.

I have a feeling the ADS-B receiver may not be compatible since it connects through the USB stick but I'm trying to work a way around it. If not, I'll have to split screen my surface to have one side SD and the other ADS-B on a separate map. No biggie, just hoping I could merge them together.

Thanks in advance.
