VRP have names vaguely relating to their position relative to the airfield plus sometimes a geographic description.
On my Ipad, I only get the geographic description (which is rather useless while not having the short name is outright dangerous):

and on my Iphone too:


VRP without geographic description (eg. EHLE, Lelystad) are shown as V without any denomination.
I did not find any parameter different in the setup of my Iphone and my Ipad. The fault is not related to the chart style, the problem persists if I switch to skydemon 1/2.

The software version must be different between the two?

Indeed, 3.3.1.5 on the iPhone; 3.2.0 on the iPad mini. I was under the erroneous impression that software updates are done automatically like map updates. However, if I think of it, it's the app store that handles it. Now, after updating the iPad to 3.3.1.5 too, the VRP names are there. Perfect, thanks a lot!
