In setup/connection options I set
"Live Data when planning"

Then I connect my iPad to my "Air Connect" to connect to my PowerFlarm device. This works over WLAN so that the iPad "thinks" it has a "real" network connection, Skydemon sometimes displays error messages about not being able to download METAR data. Off course it cannot and it should not. The issue is that it tries.
