I drag a route leg to avoid a prohibited area. I name it "A" temporarily. I then remove that name but it gets replaced with the lat/long coords, I want to delete it entirely but cannot do so by right clicking, only in the edit menu...

can i do:

a) rename the waypoint?

b) drag the label of the point rather like a comment in excel so it does not block the view of the route?

This week's release, 0.9.10, should make this process easier. You no longer have to drag to a specific waypoint when altering a route by dragging it, you can just drag anywhere. When you're happy you can then right-click the turning point (which will just be coordinates) and create a user waypoint at that location, and thereby give it a name.

I like that - great functional addition.



Now, if you put "delete" on the right click menu of a selected waypoit it'd be pretty close to perfect!

It would be nice to show/hide waypoint coords/names because their presence obscures the flightpath. I think google maps has a similar feature...

Now, any chance of an option to optionally suppress display of route labels, or move the labels off to one side of the route :-)



It really is a super program, the Enroute features display including TAF or METAR data is wonderful.

Unfortunately there isn't scope for this option before release, however we have stopped displaying labels for non-waypoint points in the route (i.e. the result of rubberbanding to avoid something).

What you've done with waypoints is a great help,
