DirDej I've just read your other post (How many subscribers to code a small country). I was under the mistaken impression that SD charts are available for Cameroon, and my advice to you was based on this assumption. However, since SD charts are not available for Cameroon, clearly it will not be possible to display map layers. This would explain why you can see map layers 'over here' but not 'over there.'

If you've got check marks against all the map layers on your tablet and they terrain is displaying in the vertical profile but not in chart view, then you've got me stumped. I don't have the base map for Cameroon, so even if I go to the co-ordinates you have provided, I don't see anything.

'Over here' I see all the layers I want to see. 'Over There' I only see terrain in the vertical radar window, nothing in the plan view except the items I put in via Custom Data. If you go to N041231 E0091623 you should see Mount Cameroun on the vertical radar, I see it on the PC plan view but not on the tablet.

In portrait mode, Settings(...)>Mapping>Map Layers or in landscape mode, Mapping>Map Layers and make sure you have a check mark placed against each layer that you wish to have displayed.

Success!
Thanks!
Next question: in the plan view on the PC I see the basemap with terrain/ land /sea etc. On the tablet I see the vertical radar with terrain but not on the plan view. I do see the max elevation figures so there must be a base map in there.

I explained it wrong, it is Setup>Custom Data>Save to Cloud in the desktop PC that I want to Load from Cloud into the tablet. These are not simple user waypoints at all, but fixes, airports, control zones etc as entered in Custom Data editor. I do see the custom data on my desktop PC charts. I want to see it on the tablet for use in-flight.

In portrait mode, the button at the top of the screen with three dots ( ...) on it. In landscape mode, you can go direct to Setup via the Setup button.
