Wind info even though no takeoff time is given

Planning a flight with no takeoff time (e.g. for a frequently used route), the wind column in the pilot log still contains wind information, affecting HdgM and GS.
What wind infos are used for that?
Since the date of the fligth is unknown, why does SD not assume the wind as 000/00 ?
SD for PC (Win7 32Bit) V3.0.7.0

I think that if you don't have a takeoff time set then SkyDemon assumes that you mean 'now'. You can manually set the wind to 000/0 using "Weather" -> "Enroute Conditions..." menu selection.
