SkyEcho dropout & fallback to GPS

Is there any way to streamilne the process whereby SD handles a SkyEcho dropout and fallback to GPS?
The current process involves 2 button presses (the "?" followed by "yes"), which is not only a distraction but there is also the danger of accidentally pressing "no" which the leaves you with no position data at all. This has happened to me a couple of times in turbulent conditions or at times of high workload, and is a real pain.
Would there ever be a scenario where you would NOT want to fall back to GPS position-only data?
Could this be simplified to a single button-press, or even better make a selectable option to automate the fallback process entirely without any user input, but keeping the warning banner and audio alarm? Even if the warnings were missed, it would be obvious that traffic information had ceased as the traffic square would have a red X through it.

There is a limit to how far we wish to go, in order to help mitigate the failure of other equipment in use in your system.

At present we do require manual input from you, the main reason being that we want you to be aware of the failure and to positively opt in to reverting to internal GPS. If you say "no" accidentally, just press the button again and select "yes".

Your suggestion for an opt-in automatic fallback is reasonable, but would require development and testing with all classes of supported device. There is a cost to this, hence our decision to stay with existing functionality at present.
