+xAre you describing a scenario of a cellular tablet and an FX ?
If so connecting to the FX will not break the cellular routing connection, as the FX (by default) does not advertise as a router/gateway device
What you seem to be describing is that when connected to FX, your tablet cannot access the internet via its cellular network
Please describe in detail your setup, what you are seeing, and what you would like to see
Thx
Lee
I described above. Let me go into more detail.
You mention that the tablet looses internet connection when making a wifi connection, but that is not what I am seeing (it knows there is no internet on the wifi, I still get weather info on Skydemon on the tablet). The issue is that I cannot have the Pilotaware Rosetta FX connect to the internet via the tablet. Because the tablet cannot both be connect to wifi and be a hotspot. Currently, I need to create a hotspot on my phone for rosetta FX to be able to connect to the internet. And the phone would be in my pocket giving bad internet connectivity. This would all be better if the FX could use the hotspot of the tablet, which is mounted in a much better position. But when creating a hotspot you cannot use the regular wifi connection (to the FX). However, in theory that is not necesary, since it is connected via the hotspot, only you'd need to be able to set the IP address of the FX in Skydemon. And internet traffic of both Skydemon and the FX would go via the tablet, so better traffic and weather info. Hence my request.
