Hi Tim,
happend to me yesterday on my way back from the airport which georeferenced plate is now located in the middle of the atlantic sea ;-)) Approaching EDTG, the georeferenced traffic circuit plate turned black after a few minutes - it´s my home airport, no harm so far, not keen experiencing this one on unfamiliar territory, though.

Hi,
I sometimes see this "back plate" issue when the chart is complex (many parts/layers to render) but it's OK most of the time (even if sluggish is the most appropriate adjective I know to define the rendering efficiency  ).
