Hi everybody,

I am trying to install SkyDemon Mobile on a Navigon 8410 (a supported device according to http://www.skydemon.aero/inflight/hardware.aspx), so far to no avail. I tried both from a Windows XP and a Windows 7 installation which both run under Parallels on my MacBook. The key problem appears to be that the Navigon is not recognised neither by ActiveSync under XP nor by the Windows Mobile Device Center under Windows 7, such that I cannot install the .NET Compact Framework.

I can install SkyDemon Mobile onto the removable microSD card, but that is not recognised by the 8410, presumably because .NET CF is missing???

Thanks in advance for any advice that anybody on this forum may be able to offer....

NB SkyDemon Plan works beautifully in my Windows/Parallels installation.

Hi

Try to install Miopocket 2.0 R28. I have gotten my to work but still have not figured out how to get the active sync to work.

Ok thanks for the advice. In the meantime my brand-new Navigon has broken down and will be repaired (or replaced) under warranty... will try as soon as I get it back.

However I saw that MioPocket is now at version 3.0. is there any reason to prefer 2.0?
