Hi
More and more it comes that insurance companies want to see, if someone had well prepared his flight. Has he checked all the weather-infos, Notams, Metar, Webcams, W&B and what ever.

What if I can add a preparation checklist to my aircraft. And each time I "go flying", I have a new option "Flightpreparation".

Flightpreparation contains as a checklist several items. Some lead to a local app, others to a website, others just text... With the ability to thake there some screenshots and back in the list, I can save the screenshot and document this whay, what I have done.

Finaly, the Flightpreparation will be stored in the briefing pack, debriefing pack, logs sections. Of course logged, when each check was confirmed.

Nice, isn't it?

How about a much simpler solution?

Create a standard checklist in SD for all the things you want to perform pre-flight.
Every time you fly, create a folder for the flight in your tablet/phone/windows file system, and use that to save all the screen shots, web pages, text notes, videos, etc along with any of the pre- and post flight SkyDemon artefacts you wish to save, and the screen shot of your completed checklist.

You can do that right away now, without waiting for Tim and team to carry out lots of work!

A "standard checklist"? More than an ordinary PDF just showing black dots on white background? Clickable? Not found it the Manual.

Yes, I can do it manually as you suggest. Buts thats why I suggest a more convenient methode in our prefered flight app ;-)

Apologies. I’d overlooked that Checklists is a SkyDemon feature that is still in beta testing, and not yet in the public version. I’m sure it won’t be long before you’ll be able to give it a try.
