Hi guys,

I am going crazy over the W&B. Feeling extremely stupid again... I have a W&B chart from the shop and tried to enter it into sky demon but for some reason it doesn't work as I am always out of the envelope. Can anyone give me a hint what I am doing wrong or what I would have to change?

Thanks and BR
Constantin

The graph seems to be ok, but point 3) could be omitted.
Did you check all loading points?
The lever values of the fuel tanks are in section FUEL, not in section W&B.

I’m assuming you’re expecting to see the empty weight M&B position plotted on the the screen shot you have shared. This doesn’t happen on the envelope set up window.

When you plan a flight and enter your fuel and other loading information, the empty weight, start of flight, end of flight, and full tanks M&B plots will be shown on that flight’s details screen.

Minor point, from looking at the POH/STC data you’ve shared, do you need to include the 81.7/3100 point if from the 77/2600 to the 82.1/3150 point is a straight line?

Hi,
I understand that and when I start a flight, regardless of the loading, it shows the weight to be outside the envelope. I have also filled the individual levers. Any idea where the mistake can be found?

I would check the arm value for your fuel tanks.

You are right. I made a mistake there. However, even after fixing it I am still out of the envelope.

Thanks and BR

I can only think that you’ve input the basic empty weight and lever arm of your aircraft incorrectly. The numbers above would indicate that it has a basic empty weight of around 2450lb. Is that correct?

Thanks. I indeed oversaw a major mistake of the basic arm and even the empty weight wasn't fully correct. Thanks for pointing at the relevant fields. It seems to work now.
