Tim, I have just loaded Version 12 and I seem to have lost my routes, aircraft and user waypoint data.  I cannot find the file anywhere on my hard disc.

Any clues?

This is related to the name change. Under My Documents there will be a folder called SkyAngel, and now one called SkyDemon. Copy everything from the old SkyAngel folder into the new SkyDemon folder and your routes will be back; and waypoints.

For your aircraft, this is the settings file which is a little harder to find. If you're using Vista/7 it's under C:\Users\[Name]\AppData\Roaming\Divelements Limited\ and you'll see two folders; one for SkyAngel and one for SkyDemon. Again, copy the settings file from the former to the latter, overwriting the latter, and your aircraft will be restored.

Tim, thanks for that.  I have got waypoints and aircraft data back OK.  Still looking for routes tho.  And the data for France doesn't read across.  I get a message sayning "data is designed for an earlier system".  I have downloaded "France" again, but still get the same message.....?

Ignore my France data comment - the file went into the Angle folder, not I have moved it to Demon/data all works OK

I can't really help with finding out where you saved your route before. SkyAngel/Demon certainly won't have deleted them though.

just downloaded version 13 - found the routes and waypoints as directed above, but can't find the folders you refer to for plane set-up.  I've copied the waypoints etc into the new skydemon folders as you suggest.  When I load a route, user waypoints  show up as turning points, but are not labeled/named on the map.  Right click gives only lat-long and I can't see a button/option to turn waypoint labels on/off.  No waypoints are displayed in the user waypoint window.  Waypoints are correctly labeled in the route-plan window though.

Any suggestions?

It sounds like your userwaypoints.xml file hasn't been found. This needs to live in My Documents\SkyDemon. You can view its contents with Notepad, even, to check what's in there.

found the file - it was wiped.  I'd moved it as per earlier instructions.  Guess I'll just need to rebuild them :-(
