I flew today and forgot to track the flight. I asked my passenger to send me his SD log but it causes an unhandled exception error when I loaded it on the PC (3.5.0.0). My flight reports as reaching several billion feet altitude and I'm having difficulty getting SD to go back to normal. I presume the log file has an invalid value/is corrupted. The log came from an iPad.

The main (map) window in SD is a white box with a red X covering it, the radar window and the right hand window for notams exc. are OK. Leaving SD, or logging out and in again does not clear it, the exception error returns. I have cleared SD once, by blundering about but now I can't.

When I loaded the log into my Nexus 7 (3.5.19917), the display didn't fail, but the .flightlog did get renamed with a (NaN nm) at the front of the file name.

I've got SD back. Loading a clean log then exiting SD and coming back in. The unhandled Exception appears to be an impossible map ref and the previously mentioned billions of feet in height and an average speed of tens of thousands of knots
