I'd like to view my track logs, generated on an iPad Mini, on a PC (with SD installed).
I tried 3 ways of doing this.
1) Backed All to Cloud, but I can't see how to open using SD on my PC. I can see previous planned routes, but not track logs.
2) Sent by email, which arrived in 3 formats. Should I be able to open these with SD? I didn't succeed.
3) Also tried the View in Google Earth option from the iPad, but this gave me the choice of AirDrop (share with people nearby?) and Goodreader, which I use to open and store documents.
I opened the .kml file which arrived by email using Google Earth on the PC, which is interesting but not what I wanted.
So two questions:
a) Can I view my iPad track log in SD format on a PC? And should I use SD to do this? In other words, recreate the flight, which is straightforward to do on the iPad, but on the PC.
b) How do I store a Google Earth .kml file on an iPad to then view using the Google Earth app?
Many thanks.
(I researched previous posts on the Forum, and the Manual, but couldn't locate the answers)
