Hi,

Not sure if you can help.. I have an acer x51v and am using a tom tom bluetooth wireless gps mrk 11. I have uploaded both memory map and skydemon onto the pda but am having loads of problems trying to connect the gps and get a signal. think it might have something to do with the com ports.

just wondering if anybody else has had the same problem?

thanks

There might be a standard GPS programme on the PDA (was on a Pocket LOOX I once had). Try getting that to see the bluetooth and then get a fix. You have to set the ports in 2 places (the software and the OS .. maybe only if internal GPS chip). Alos you need to specify the signal type (nimea etc).

But you are right  .. play about with port settings until you find right combination.
