Hello,
I am new to SD currently using the trial on a Win8 (Professional) Tablet (Acer W510); I am able to use most of the SD features in Simulation Mode; however, when trying to connect via BT to the GNS2000 I receive the following error; is this a restriction of the trial or does the combination of SD, Acer 510 and GNS2000 not work?
Regards
JD

Not a restriction, no.
There's something wrong with the way your GPS unit has installed. Can you try fully removing it (including deleting the COM port from device manager), then try adding it again?

Hi,
the GPS works fine with other applications, such as Skymap or Flightplanner, GPS fix within a couple of seconds.
What helped was to delete the strange sympol (pls. s. pic

), so that COM3 was selected successfully.
Does anybody know, why SD isn't able to show the com ports correctly?
However, although Skydemon is now able to connect to the GPS and also shows that enough Sats are available, I receive the "Seeking GPS Satellites" error (s. attachment).
Again, the GPS works fine with all other applications and is able to get a GPS fix within a few seconds..
Any ideas?
Edit: ok, as it seems

SD is unable to work with the new GNSS receivers - so I won't be able to use SD. Good having tested it before purchase.
