Group: Forum Members Posts: 38, Visits: 242	Hi there, I am currently preparing a flight to the AERO 2013 in Germany (Friedrichshafen). For sightseeing purpose I planned to fly to EDTZ (Konstanz). By coincidence I checked the NOTAMS on the DFS homepage. There I read that EDTZ is closed due to flooding (April 20th - 28th) which is not indicated in SD. Thus the NOTAMS are not reliable to me and not very useful if I am always uncertain whether this info is complete within SD. What is the source of the NOTAMS and why there are deviations? You need to scroll right to the bottom - the NOTAMs are listed in the order:- Take off Aerodrome Warnings Enroute Landing Aerodrome I'm fairly sure that aerodrome warnings won't appear in the NOTAM brief if you're not actually taking off or landing from there - so if you've just used an AD as a waypoint, it won't appear in the brief.

Group: Forum Members Posts: 38, Visits: 242	Hi, thanks i think this was the issue, although it was my destination airport. Maybe there was a fault because I set an alternate? Anyway, when doublecheckingh yesterday - after my ride - I also saw the mentioned NOTAM. Cheers, Oliver
