Do you mean Windows 8 on a PC or are you referring to a tablet?

I know it works perfectly well on a PC running windows 8, but I have a feeling that win 8 on tablets isn't the full version and therefore won't run SD. I'm sure others with the tablets will be along soon and can offfer more information.
