Group: Forum Members Posts: 68, Visits: 295	I went update my charts and SD prompted me to allow an update of the software package. I clicked the appropriate permissions and just ended up with SD disappearing ! This happened twice and necessitated a system restore to get back to here. I have updated the charts, but retained my (apparently) earlier versuion of the software. Why would this happen? The computer is a Win7 netbook and this is the first time I've had difficulty with it when updating. SD and a cheap Chinese satnav = Jobzagoodun.

Group: Forum Members Posts: 384, Visits: 4.2K	This topic has recenly been covered but I had a quick look and couldn't find the posts. I believe that there has been a glitch when updating this way. To resolve it, just go to 'control panel' and delete skydemon, then download the latest version from this site. All your routes, logs, etc etc won't be deleted doing it this way.
