Group: Forum Members Posts: 68, Visits: 295	I just selected SD via the shortcut on my desktop pc (Windows XP) and I was prompted to upload the latest update. I happily complied and the usual little window opened indicating the transfer of files. I popped out to the kitchen to grab the cuppa my good woman had produced and returned to find no sign of SD and the shortcut is missing from my screen. i am befuddled and don't see any way of opening up SD. How do I get it back ? Why me ? Am I just lucky? SD and a cheap Chinese satnav = Jobzagoodun.

Group: Forum Members Posts: 68, Visits: 295	Sorted :-) Control panel - Uninstall programs - select SD - Click 'change' and 'finish' and it fixes itself. Why? I have no idea SD and a cheap Chinese satnav = Jobzagoodun.

Group: Forum Members Posts: 6, Visits: 29	Just as an addendum - you can also drag the exe from c:\Program Files back to your desktop and create a shortcut there. Seems to be a glitch in the update installer - has happened on the last two occasions to me, I just dug out the exe and ran it directly
