Good evening,
France is divided in 12 metropolitan regions.
Each region is divided in metropolitan departments.
I have created one file per department except for Gironde and Landes, one file for these two departments.
In each file, I have put the Gps address of each castle.
I have used colour flags given by skydemon.
For each department, only one colour. Two adjacent departments have different colours.
The comon file for Gironde and Landes have two different colour flags, according to the department.
The name of each file is like:
"Châteaux XXX-DepartmentName.userwaypoints.gpx"
XXX is the code of the metropolitan region as you have it in the image above.
For the moment, I only have created the files concernig 3 metropolitan regions:
Bretagne (Britany): Bre,
Nouvelle Aquitaine : AQU,
Pays de la Loire: Pdl.
I also refused to add the castles we have in big cities, like Nantes, Bordeaux or even smaller cities like Quimper for example,
since we need to fly at high altitude at these moments.
Nevertheless, there are plenty of them left.
On a Pc, thes files can be download in the directory :
C:\Users\????????\Documents\SkyDemon\Waypoints
When the files are displayed as folders inside the Waypoint Menu of Skydemon, the Synchronization will spread the data to your other devices.
I will go ahead concerning the other metropolitan regions starting next week.
I also have two extra files, one concerning the Cathar castles, the second one concerning the
castles close to the Loire River.
I prefered to create a zip file (1 file to upload instead of 24).
