Hello.
I have a WiFi onlyiPad Pro which I have paired via Bluetooth to a Garmin GLO2 GPS receiver.
But still when I use SkyDemon, I receive the message “This iPad does not have a GPS chip“. I have location on for skydemon.   Can anyone help how to resolve this. Many thanks.
Frederic

Try turning location off. With location turned on, SD is looking for an internal GPS on your device which, of course, it does not have. With location turned off, SD will no longer look for an internal GPS and your Garmin GLO2 should transmit your GPS location to your device via Bluetooth.

I’m not sure that’s correct Ian.

Unlike location data being provided via a WiFi link, IOS location services ‘adopts’ the location provided by a Bluetooth device.

OP, does this from Garmin help?
