I have just upgraded from Windows 8.1, where SD Light worked beautifully via Internet Explorer 11, to Windows 10.  This replaces IE with a web browser called Edge.  I find that SD Light won't run; when I connect to the website, I get a message telling me I have to install Silverlight.  I can only get past this by agreeing to download and install Silverlight.  Eventually, Windows reports what I already knew - that it is on the PC already - and then dumps me back to the original screen telling me that I need Silverlight  . . .

I have found in the past that Chrome is an excellent alternative browser, and I have no trouble in running SD light using it.  This will certainly do as a solution for me until the incompatibility with Edge is resolved - by whom, I have no idea!

Chrome will not support Silverlight in future versions. See https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/kb/3058254 and https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/142064?hl=en-GB

Windows 10 still includes Internet Explorer. You should be able to run SkyDemon Light in it.

Yes, if I can find it!  MS make it hard to bypass their favoured 'Edge', but I have pinned it to the Task Bar just to spite them.

Hi,

Is anyone aware of any issues downloading the SkyDemonLight app to an android phone?

There is no SkyDemon Light for Android. I suspect that is the root cause of any issue you're experiencing.
