Hi,

I was flying yesterday using Skydemon, plus the french map, and noticed a discrepancy between the two.

Over the CTR Orange, there is TMA Provence 1.2 class D; it has the same lateral limits as the CTR. On Skydemon this is depicted as having vertical limits 2000' agl or 2500' amsl to 2500 amsl. Since the area is mostly in the Rhone valley, apart from a few hills, it means that the airspace almost does not exist, and that since Orange CTR is often not activated, you could transit this zone in uncontrolled airspace.

On the french chart it has the vertical limits as 2000' agl or 2500' amsl to FL145. So radio clearance + transponder are necessary.

Also, the radio frequency is wrong. It should be Provence Info 127.725.

Can this be corrected in the next chart update ?

cheers,

Andy.

Thanks Andy. The correction will be in next week's chart update.
