Hi,
Just a short note to confirm my understanding about flying VFR in airways in France.
After chatting to a few folk in the UK I understand that I can fly in airways in France using the semi-circular rule minus 500 ft. Is this accurate, and if not, can some kind person clarify the VFR/Airways rules for France please.
I'm planning a trip to LFLH and the last time I flew IFR (with a very good IR friend), but this time will be VFR on my own.

There is a lot more you should be aware of when flying in a foreign country. It is all there in the AIP and I would not want to give someone a false feeling of security. So, definitely, RTFM in this case. This is a legal requirement!
