My main device is an iPad, but I'm looking for an affordable 4" or 5" device suitable for Skydemon that I can mount in the cockpit so that it is in permanent view and gives me airspace & NOTAM warnings. It needs to have Wifi to be able to download NOTAMS and sync routes. The obvious solution is an Android phone (no need for a SIM card). Would a cheapo one like this work:

Or do I need to spend the extra for a Galaxy III or similar?
