Is there a way to automatically download the AIP plates without having to open them one by one? They could go into a temp folder that gets updated or deleted when needed.

Right now, I have to double-click each plate in the right-hand window. It downloads and opens a separate PDF window for each plate. Then the plates are shaded 'green' and stored locally. Then I have to close maybe twenty separate PDF windows. I want to carry the SID, STAR and approach plates on paper after printing them at home.
There are maybe two levels to consider: the plates you want to have on the local storage and the ones you want to have printed. I don't feel comfortable flying an instrument approach in turbulent conditions, maybe at night, with the plate on just a 7" screen. The A4 size AIP plates are not readable when shown in full on 7" held at arms lenght, you need to zoom in and scroll up or down.
