Managed to get plan to 'crash' whilst zooming with the message "Skydemon.exe has stopped working"

I am an ardent fan of both the SD product and the company, however being a such a serious SD user, in order to get back working, i had to reload the previous version from my pc, and as a consequence. I lost a lot of data, (50+ Flight logs, 20+ aircraft files, and nearly 100 user waypoints). I am therefore very reluctant to upgrade to the "fix version" until I hear people report that it is OK. I am therefore quite surprised that no such comments seem to be being posted either here - or on the other fora.
NB - I've saved all of my waypoints from my pc to the cloud - but I can't find out how to load user waypoints from the cloud to the iPad version
