Hello, I am seeking to use VirtualBox to run SD for flight planning on a linux Ubuntu 12.04 system. Has anybody done that please?

That is good to know. However, would it not be better to install Ubuntu alongside Windows (dual boot)? The user can the just boot up in Windows whenever SD is needed. I previously noted that SD ran slower within virtual box.
