I am trialling trhe Sky Demon software on my laptop. All works well except syncing with my Garmin GPSmap96 for tracking purposes.
I can upload a route to the GPS.
I cannot download track details. I receive the following error message:
"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. The added or subtracted value results in an un-representable date time. Parameter name :t."
When I click start GPS, I receive the following: "There was an error while trying to open the GPS device. The given port does not start with COM/com or does not resolve to a valid serial port."
My device connectivity is set to Garmin and USB.
GPS Nav option is set to usb and baud 4800.
I should add that i can track progress on google earth but not Sky Demon.
