Tim,
Congratulations on the 2.4 release, i used it on the iPad for first time yesterday, very clear and the addition of AIC plates is terrific. Their orientation is sometimes wrong but that is a problem caused by them not SD.

I run the iPad in parallel with a Garmin 795, this has a Jeppesen Subscription database running with IFR/VFR plates and Monthly updates. There is no comparison regarding cost and valUe, SD wins hands down. The Garmin of course also has its benefits, the two together give great confidence.

A feature l do use on the Garmin, absent from SD, is Checklists. Maybe a useful future addition?
There are still issues with waypoint correlation, my SD routes generate new waypoints with identical names (but crucially without access to the database info, like comms, plates and suchlike). I guess it is a big ask to have the Garmin interpret the SD waypoints from its own database?

So well done and keep up the development, goodness only knows what SD will be like in 12 months.

Thanks John. I think we researched the Garmin export quite thoroughly and do all we can to get it to use its own waypoints where possible.
