Had a couple of issues when I synced with my chinese 7" GPS after installing the 28/2/12 release on my PC:
1. The update unloaded my UK map. This one is simple to fix - go to the charts menu and click on 'load'.
2. The update also turned off the GPS, and changed the GPS com port and baud rate to erroneous values. This meant turning the GPS back on had no effect. I would suggest you note your current GPS com port and baud rate before doing the update so you know what to change them back to. (Mine were COM1 and the 57K baud rate)
Apart from that everything looks good  Just need some better weather to try it in the air.
