Skydemon Mobile adjustable label and menu size?

Hi All,

I am evaluating the Skydemon on different CE devices (Wayteq and AV80R) is there a way to adapt the screen/label resolution. I had it run on Wayteg unit 5" with 840 resolution however the label text is so small its hard to read and it takes to much concentration to hit the labels correctly. In a cockpit environment it would be very difficult I think. Specially when using/reading the menu structure and the fields on the left indicating track etc...

I looked into the ini files like you have sometimes a setting there, but I couldn't find anything...

One criticism apart from the excellent airspace graphics features etc.. the HMI interface of the Honeywell unit is very good and fast...I tend to switch to Skydemon but I need to make sure the HMI is working in a cockpit environment? E.g why is there no "Direct to" menu immediately available popping up a keyboard to enter the VRP or way point, Navaid etc...? Typing is still less error prawn then hitting the point on the screen...

The downside of the Honeywell unit is that if your SDHC card is screwed up you can buy a new one for 180 euro's. I am happy to see that skydemon takes a different approach and does not lock you into one hardware solution...You pay for the quality of data and the associated data services application etc.......

Maybe I overlooked a setting? I am aware the Map Fonts can be increased but this does not effect the labels and menu structure...

Any feedback welcome

Keep up the good work!

Direct to - Give this a go to see if it's what you want, there are three ways

1. When in chart view with a GPS signal, hold your finger over the airfield or waypoint of choice, it will then show the name of the airfield or waypoint (including the waypoints you put on the chart yourself) If you tap the name  you will get more options e.g. Start route here, View Plate, or Route direct.

2. Tap the blue SD logo at the top left of screen, Now tap 'Flight' and you will see in the list 'Direct to'

3. Probably the easiest of all, with the Virtual radar displayed at the bottom of your screen, use either your finger or stylus to swipe it accross the bottom of the screen from left to right and you will be presented with the 'direct to' menu

Hope this helps good luck
