Elevation in What’s Here

If you press what’s here anywhere there is airspace, you get the nice graphical vertical presentation of elevation and airspace, so as well as showing you airspace a quick press of what’s here gives you the ground elevation in a nice format.

However when flying in a Class G area with no other airspace, the vertical graph is not shown, and to get the elevation requires another fiddly press on the location which does give the ground elevation amongst the info.

Personally I’d prefer if the vertical graph was always in what’s here, to show ground elevation , even if there is no airspace. Can’t see any downside?

Rainer, if you want to know your height above ground level, touch the altitude instrument to switch it to height mode.

Norland, you make a good point about there being a lat/long reading on that screen. We'll add the elevation next to that, and see if that helps.
