+xHello all,
Just past my GFT for Gyroplanes in the UK. So looking to get to grips with SkyDemon. The problem I'm having is when I'm trying to plot on a tablet. I'm wanting to fly and return to my home airfield, and just wanting to explore the surrounding area. So I trying plotting by dabbing my finger on the screen, then when I try to select a second position the track line does not appear! If I plot from airfield to airfield it works fine and I can modify the route . But just dabbing in random position doesn't produce a track line. I've seen it done on the tutorial videos. Is there a setting I am missing?
Hoping you can help
Alan
If you touch on a feature such as a town, waypoint, or navaid, the route will be extended to that point (assuming you have seen the 'now touch on another....' banner appear on the previous one. If you want to extend the route to a spot without a feature, do a long press to display the 'What's here' pop-up, touch the waypoint Lat-Long line, then touch 'Append to Route'.
Dont forget that you can also rubber-band from with an existing leg by dragging from a point within it out to somewhere else.
If you just want to bimble in a specific area, you can also just define an area as a radius around your start point, by touching Route >> Create Route >> [Start Position - this will be your home airfield if you've defined one, or you can select or search for a point] >> then you can select the radius from the options at the top of the 'Landing Airfield' pop-up.
