Flight planning VFR through Brussels TMA

Hoping to go to Schaffen Diest Flyin  in August. Anyone got recent experience of VFR transits through Brussels area?

What is exactly your question ? Through Brussels TMA (ask FIS usually you get approval -if not in the way of landing/departing traffic- you might stay on their frequency or got transferred to Brussels Departure) or CTR (less encline to provide approval, especially if there is a lot of traffic to/from Brussels)

Many thanks. Sounds like I should be ok. There will be ten or more of us routing that way so they may get a bit fed up with us over the weekend of Diest.
