In navigation mode there is a white line with crossbars ahead of the airplane.
I can imagine what it is, but where in the user manual is it described?
What is the name of the line?
Can it be modified by the user, for instance number of crossbars?

Search the user manual for ‘trajectory’. The description is in the section on Moving Map.
