Airfields requiring PPR

Many airfields now require PPR by email or on line.
Is there a way in which SkyDemon could provide an on line service to both Pilots and airfields that meets everyone’s needs.

Interesting question and also interesting that nobody replied yet. I do not think this is a feature that is easily implemented since many airfields that require PPR are only open during the weekend. Also, email addresses are not permanently monitored.
Best action when PPR required, is pick up the phone and call the airfield to get permission. And if you're planning a trip a long time ahead, sending an email is no biggie, is it?

I would love way to easily depict PPR in route planning and to search for PPR under "Find a Destination" like rating/fee or fuel/runway availability.

It is a bit cumbersome to find the information having to manually look up all airports along the route to decide on planned stops and alternate options.

That said, automating the contact of PPR is not really feasible, as there is many different ways to do so. Some requires e-mail other have webforms. And there may be airfield specific information required.

AFAIK, PPR is by far not standardized in any way and, correct me if I am wrong, not even some kind of 'flag' in the AIPs. As long as this is the case, how much money are you willing to spend for such a function, which probably needs a full time employee gathering the data and caring for it all day long?

PPR is mentioned in the AIP for Belgium. You mean that this is not a standard practice in other countries' AIP's? If it were, it would be relatively easy to at least indicate PPR into the airfield info in SD, no?

Just one remark, with respect to the aerodrome information of uncontrolled airfields AIPs of most countries are solely collections of data provided and accounted for by the airfield operators. Usually there is neither quality control nor active management by authorities in most countries and finally no obligation at all where to publish non-standards as PPR. Even if the AIP databases would get a data field for PPR, there is no guarantee anybody cares to fill it. Are you keen to increase to level of regulations?

Clear response, thanks. Learnt something new today, namely that PPR is not something standardised in AIPs.
No, I am not keen to increase to level of regulations, we have regulations enough as it is. Bottom line: check the relevant AIP to see if there is any mention on PPR and act accordingly. Depending on your destination, this may be a phone call, a mail, or a web form that needs to be filled out prior to departure.
