skydemon stopping

since flying restart I am repeatedly getting the message  'Unfortunately, Skydemon has stopped'. On two different tablets so presumeably a skydemon problem.  Also connection to PAW often takes much longer than I recall in the past.  Any reasons/solutions known?

Could you try the current Android beta? We think we've isolated a problem with older Android versions (4.x) accessing our server.

Hello Tim,

Yes I can try that, where do I find the BETA?
Working with SD this morning preparing for tomorrows flight, I get the same error, logged out and back in again and it's working but would appreciate a permanent fix.
My tablet a Samsung SM-T230 running android 4.4.2
