Sky Echo connection issue

Hi, I have skydemon( 3.14.6.278) and sky echo working together fine in my ipad 1(ios 9.3.5) and on my iphone 5.
I have just bought an ipad 4(ios14.3) and cannot get skydemon to connect . The ipad is showing the sky echo connected but when i select it it just says "waiting for device". If i click on Skyecho configuration it says "An invalid response was received from your device"
Getting rather frustrated now! Anyone got any ideas? Is this a problem with ios 14.3?

There’s a new release to the SE2 wifi firmware just available in the last day or two. If you haven’t done so already it might be worth updating to that.

i have had a few connection issues 
i have downloaded the latest wi fi version 
and adsb version listed below.

Wi-Fi Version:    0.2.30-SkyEcho  
ADS-B Version:    2.6.13
will give it a go on sunday weather permiting
so we will see
