Now that Galileo is active, is SD using that signal if my tablet/phone have that build in?

With the more precise positioning, how often do SD update the position? 

Is it the chip in the tablet/phone that controls update freq, or is it SD?

It's the library that calls SkyDemon with updates. Usually once per second.
