I think SD is awesome and fast. Bit lacking in the airfield waypoints and map detail but otherwise great.

I have only used SkyDemon for couple months on the monthly option and will be going to Australia for a couple months from South Africa. It's my understanding SD doesn't work in Aus so didn't want to go for an annual option.

However today mine expired before I was able to print my log. So I have 3 suggestions

1. Prevent routing etc when account has expired but allow the user to access or create summary of logs. Sucks .
2. Would be great if I could download (offline) satellite or openstreetmaps onto the device for remote areas. We have many pans and POI's which SD's default map just doesn't mention. I recently did around 4000km over a week in a Microlight and was annoyed not knowing the names of anything in the area, should I have an engine out etc. My wingman had AirNavPro (I can't stand it) however it had loads of info by comparison.
3. Increase the airfield lists in Southern Africa. OZ Runways, AirNavPro, EasyCockpit has loads for Southern Africa.
