Android devices with a notch

As an Iphone X user, I applaud the swift response to the notch issue.

I am currently looking at an android device for my work mobile and notice there is a fashion for notches.
Has there been a similar fix for Android notches?

Nothing from our side. I don't know how the Android operating system deals with them and we haven't heard (to my knowledge) of any customers using such devices and encountering any problems.
