I have a very annoying problem with the latest version of Android. If you minimize the app to briefly answer an SMS message or check a web page, the logging will stop since there is no GPS provided by the system to the background apps. 

There is a new function in Android OS that must be used in order to get builtin GPS access as a background service and the app should be updated. It's very annoying to merge several legs EVERY TIME just to get a (barely) working log.

Sending SD in the background stops logging.

When you report problems and request modifications very often SD-team answers, that not many others have reported the same problem or request modifications. 

So I gave up to write something.

Only if more users complain and answer to posts in the forum often and frequently SD might change its attitude.
