I have remarked recently that Skydemon seems to use the altitude reading from the iPad pressure sensor instead of the GPS derived altitude, which causes issues in pressurised aircraft. Would it be possible to choose the source? I have SD 3.10 running on iOS11.3

Your assertion is incorrect; SkyDemon uses GPS altitude for the altimeter and other functions requiring altitude.
