Windows Version, Virus detected

I tried another experiment.  Having successfully downloaded and installed SD 3.9.5 from the SD web site on to my desk top computer, I then tried to upgrade SD on my win 10 laptop.  This time I let the SD Program prompt me that a newer version was available, which i elected to download.  The file tmp3DF2.tmp.exe was downloaded.  I tried to run that program to upgrade SD but received an error code stating that the operation did not complete successfully because "the file contains a virus or potentially unwanted software"

I had a virus warning yesterday when I tried to update SD from within the SD program.  Today I downloaded the latest Win version od SD from the SD web site.  No viruses were found in this version so I ran the installation program and updated my SD to version 3.9.5.0.

I have tried updating from within the application and from the SD website and in both cases get a warning from Windows Defender that the file contains a Trojan: Win32/Fuery.A!cl.

The PC has just had the Windows 10 April 18 update...

On the basis of Tim's post, I disabled Windows Defender for 15 seconds while I downloaded the latest version.

‌The world didn't end.

Unfortunately the latest version is triggering a false positive in certain versions of Windows Defender. There is no virus or other malware contained; easily verifiable by downloading the file and using any number of online virus scanners on it before attempting to run it. As you can imagine, this is rather a pain for us, but there isn't anything immediate we can do about it.
