Ah, I can see the airfield proximity warnings now.
I had read the manual, but not the most current one. If you download it from within SD, help menu, user guide, you‘ll be presented with the 3.8.4 version, while SD‘s website hosts the newest one (3.8.5). Hadn‘t seen this.

My question may even be more stupid.
How can I see airfield proximity warnings? I‘ve updated SD to the newest version (iPad).
I‘ve planned a route overflying some small and bigger airfields. No warning at all. I‘ve been flying (simulation mode) this route, no warnings.
What do I do wrong?

Hi just seen the explanation in the manual page 76
The warning will appear when you’re flying within 1nm laterally, and within 1500ft vertically of an airfield.
